Ordered it on April 2.
Estimated shipping date is April 16.
Estimated arrival date is April 30.
Estimated got-a-hold-of-the-damn-thing date is May 1.

Everything is prepared for it, backed up the old HDD, downloaded Slackware 11 CD’s (ok, who got my old ones??), searched google for linux compability options, bookmarked every single thing that’s related, even downloaded the drivers.

My god, I’m officially going crazy… Ok, not really but my stomach did ache more often (it has something to do with stress if you asked me)

PS: here are some cool stuff I found out about the Thinkpad T60

• Playing Tux Racer with the T60, Wii-style! Some crazy stuff here.
• Fingerprint reader working in linux, and a video demo
• Changing the BIOS bootsplash is possible, also ThinkWiki is a good site with lots of info to check out
• Legends of Thinkpad, definitely an ad campaign from IBM/Lenovo but still, pretty awesome stuff
